The whole saga is becoming an absolute joke now. The Allam's, once again, must be sitting in their ivory tower laughing their socks off at the divide they have caused between both sets of fans and the media over the KC. The media, rather than showing an impartial view of the debacle, just seem to stoke the fire at every opportunity then sit back and watch the outcome. When I think of the first game at the KC and the sense of achievement, that as a City, we finally had something we could be proud of I would never have thought that 12 yrs later it could turn into such a mess. Such a sad state of affair.

I stopped taking the Daily Wail years ago, I would advise everyone who loves this city and its sport to do the same. Its always the first to do stick the knife in and it has one eye on its advertising income at all times. I have a long experience of them mis-quoting me and others I know over the years, twisting everything to suit there political position which is a great deal to the right of everyone in Hull and the surrounding area. The ramblings of its sports writes have hit the bottom in recent years, Dick Tingle and Dave Sexton where at least entertaining , accurate and worthy of a read.

I will organise a party for when it hits the stands for the last time because that day can not be far off its readership has plunged out of sight and local rags are fast being consigned to the history books, the internet is so much faster and more entertaining.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

Allams have asked the FA not to announce the name change appeal verdict due this week until the end of the season. Does that mean they're expecting to win or lose I wonder?

Surely you must see the irony of your comment. Why the need to insult those who watch football when you deem it necessary to insult the sport as well as its fans?

Nonsense.

The pitch was originally set with a synthetic ingredient so it could withstand all year round sport. Remember it was only intended that first team games be played in it.

Much easier to sell a PL team than a Championship team. With some decent results recently, perhaps they want more time before they pull out.

That, or there are zero interested parties and he is saving face until the end of the season on his threat to walk.

As much as many people would want to believe it I can not see a situation were a Premiership team or even a championship team would have no interested parties. Football is very attractive to billionaires willing to lose money or millionaires looking to loan money at inflated interest rates. That attraction is even greater now that the new TV deal is in place.
Any potential sticking point in the sale of City will surround the amount of money that Allam wants.

There will be a reason why they want the announcement delayed. That reason will only be for the greater good of the Allam family as opposed to the club and the football community.

Problem is that FFP stops the Man City/Chelsea models being replicated, which means clubs lose their appeal to the mega rich who want to play football club owner.

Probably nothing more than Allam not wanting the news, either way, to disrupt City's relegation fight.

why would any potential buyer want to buy city? what do they own? their own training ground!?

not owning the kc is a millstone around allams' neck and one he didn't for see with all the surrounding land protected, pity he didn't do his homework, now he is stuck with a football team nobody wants to buy!

the only thing i see is he pockets the cash from the new tv deal and sells the club off for peanuts
