its all speculation,as it will never happen.all I know is there at least 20,000 rugby fans in this town.if hull were top now and winning things we would attract 15,000 to 16,000.even now with better away support we would average 13,000 +

Means they sold it for £445k less that it was worth in the accounts, basically.

I happen to agree. With the obvious caveat of there only ever being 1 rugby league team in the city of Hull, no mergers etc. It's not so long ago we were averaging 12kish and what's Rovers average, 7k? 20k for a winning team is well within the bounds of plausibility.
