In my opinion its all rigged to make a case to get us out when they think they have an opportunity, that's not scare mongering its just a conclusion I draw when you group all these things together, not putting the top section on our post anymore, threats of closing stands, pricing our testimonial games out of practical reach, restrictions on using the pitch, taking our pictures down, charging for rooms that used to be free as part of the user agreement etc etc. and still they lose money on our games??????
They have allies too, take the beer increases Radio Humberside last night once again placating the Allams by saying the only reason the beer has gone up is that they don't sell enough at rugby so they have to put the prices up. It's always been a known fact that they sell more at rugby than at football we just won't hand over our cut!!!!

When the F.A. reject their Name Change Appeal - decision very imminent - he will no longer be involved, as he nere goes back on his word!!!! Good riddance!
All very worrying and I think Wilf has it spot on , this is all leading to us being pushed out at some point in the future when he feels he can force the issue. I do feel he will change his mind when the FA tell him no to changing the name, he will wriggle off the noose he himself placed around his neck.
My one hope is the people of Hull will all finally see him for what he is, from that moment on he is doomed as Hull folk do not like anyone who "lord it over others". Radio Humberside do not have have not done for years served the people of Humberside with the service they should, the political overtones of a lot of there output is at times appalling. They take great care in case they lose there cosy position with the current City owners, they seem incapable of presenting a balanced case without constant toadying up to them.
We just carry on and keep the gunpowder dry and trust in God, Remember David Lloyd ............
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

Wilf has it spot on, however, what the honorary Dr. forgets is that the club has powerful allegiances with those who make the decisions about the Stadium. Also, if he was serious about buying the stadium, he would have to pay the going rate - no cheap deals - government finance doesn't allow for assets to be disposed of for less than full market value.
It is interesting that he splits the business of the SMC into three lumps - to show only Hull City make the SMC money - the part he owns!
What is needed from fans is to pack three sides of the ground to make closing stands difficult. We can't control the away fans - last week was a disappointing show from Wire.
What I can't understand is what has changed in the last few years to make the accounts looks so bad (apart from the obvious!).
For example, city's average attendance in the first 6 years was about 16k, ours was under 12k, but the SMC managed a profit. Now Hull FC is losing them £1.1m with attendances down about 2k.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
