My "precious" seat is a necessity for me. I sit at the end of a row which I need to for my disability. Why should I have to sit somewhere in the West Stand where I don't want to be just because I need a particular seat every match?

Is obviously wrong for someone to try it on by sitting in someone else's reserved seat.
However it also seems to be the case that some people have been innocently sitting in reserved seats due to inadequate signage in which case the seat holder should politely ask them to move rather than get outraged.
If someone sits in a reserved seat near you and you know the seat holder is not attending the match, is it really any of your business?
First there was wisdom Then there was knowledge Now there is only information

The East stand should be fully unreserved to help create a better atmosphere, if that means you and others like you have to move to get the facilities they need then so be it. Alternatively you could just get there early enough to get the seat you want.

This thread has now stooped to new depths with this remarkable comment.

Are you now saying that those who sit in the reserved section don't create an atmosphere? Can you explain a bit more by what you mean??? And "others like me", wow, just wow.
Just for your information I cannot get there early enough to get "the seat I want" as I can't sit for too long.
You really have a bee in your bonnet about reserved seating don't you

Yes I can, the only atmosphere in the East stand comes from the North and South unreserved areas of it, making it unreserved would allow for a larger congregation. It's not difficult.

Not the best way to put it Sorry if any offence was taken. I merely only meant those that needed a reserved seat for whatever reason.

I have every sympathy, I have a disabled daughter who has similar problems.

Not really, I sit in the South stand where it's not an issue. Forgive me for suggesting an idea to liven up the atmosphere in a dull stadium and having a problem with people calling others who accidentally sit in their reserved seats "scrounges".

Yes, others like you that have disabilities and need a reserved seat. If you needed a reserved seat then you'd have to move to the west stand. This is where people become precious, God forbid they'd have to move to get what they need.

You just don't get it do you and I'm not going into equality and disability specifics with you, you should know how I and your daughter want to be treated. As for the atmosphere coming from the North & South unreserved that is blatently not true. E9 there are a group of lads, some you may know who used to post on here, The Brother being one of them, who generate plenty of atmosphere.

now your talking b0ll0x
stick to the south stand where YOU can sit anywhere!
my main gripe was people paying for unreserved then intentionally trying to sit in reserved areas!
if someone buys the tickets for seats next to us then i dont have a problem, what i do have a problem with is people trying to sit in them when they havent paid for that section
the stadium has been open for over 10 years and the middle blocks of the east have always been reserved so why should we give them up for you!
