it said in the rugby papers last week it has come from the rfl a new man from union has started this .
he was at bath union and he started it there
its ok for cc final n gf but i did not like it.
it took away the wall of sound we get at the kc from all the hull fans.

Three line whip from the RL everyone has to use it. The pre match people at Saints are really vocal about it they don't like not being able to use Oh When the Saints as they run out I don't know whether the bloke came from Bath or Wasps but its the same format the RU team he came from used pre match. Its a bit of a farce and takes away the traditional entry stuff we always got used to at Cas, Wigan and the KC etc. I think that the wall of sound you talk about was a distinct advantage to any home team that can muster it this just calms it down. Rumour is that we're in trouble for Clarky saying 'Welcome Hull...F...C' as your supposed to welcome both teams.

They don't do it in RU internationals - the Wales England game was delayed because England refused to go out before Wales as the usual trick was to leave them out on the pitch for an age in front of the partisan crowd.

It's bloody awful

I hated it. Thought all the hand shaking at the end was too contrived as well. Just let the players from both sides run off towards their own fans with a quick handshake for any opposition player they come across along the way!
