Nobody posting about this? I can't because I wasn't there. But I would say that we've now conceded an average of 32.6 points against teams we will play against in the league this season, two of those games being at home. I daren't even mention Leigh. What's with the defence?

We are from Keighley. We are NOT Bradfordians.

Once again we played a scrappy game although we looked good when we actually concentrated.

We blew them away in the first half but allowed their intimidation to draw us into a fight in the second. We were down to 10 men at one point in the game and should know better.

They will go away thinking they have got the better of us and I only hope we can shake the cobwebs off for next week or we will get smashed.

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

It was a game of total indicipline , illtempered dross littered with schoolboy
errors and fighting , not good when the coach gwts sinbinned for foul play.
No respect for themselves against a team that are at best bad that had
been stuck in traffic kams most of the day , got changed on the coach and were more or less straight onto the field of play after a few minutes warmup.

From the last 4 games it does not look good for the upcoming season ,
I think the league of doom will be here for a while unless big changes are madw.

Keighley 36 : 28 All Golds

It was 36 : 6 up until the 65th min!

Constant niggle and messing about in the tackle and at the play the ball ruined the second half.

We should know better than getting dragged in by such tactics, unless refs get a grip I can only see this being a regular occurrence. Having three of our players off the pitch at the same time is unacceptable (2 yellows, one red) and one of them was our player/coach.

I've had enough of "friendlies" now and just want some "proper" rugby.

Question though... Does anyone know why it was played on a Saturday?

The Chairman. But he doesn't commuincate direct with the club's fans. Would we be better or worse off if he resigned and put the club up for sale?

Good point and fair question. I'd like to see some new blood at the club and in the boardroom. I don't know about the finances at the club, but from what I know of Gary he wouldn't of done if for nothing or out of love for the club. I don't believe he is not making any money out of this venture.

If the club was up for sale would anyone be interested? Arguably, it's worth less now than it was 8 months ago. Would Mr Fawcett walk away?

The All Golds wanted to play on the Saturday, we were quite keen to move to the Sunday then Bradford City started giant killing once again so it made sense to keep it on the Saturday.
