Schofield is the stand out for me. A brilliant player who could control and change a game. Had left the UK when he started with Hull but I saw quite a lot of him when he played in Aus both with Gt Britain and Balmain when he mostly played as a stand-off. Billy Batten would partner him.
My favourite centre would have to be Roy Francis who possessed a wonderful " rugby brain" shown to the full when he later coached the club to great success in the 50's.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand.We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen,heard or witnessed before.
