I've never mentioned the stand once just the rebuilt wall, but for some reason you seem to have difficulty in understanding whether or not it actually has been, when you finally decide one way or tuther do let us know your decision, perhaps you ought to look nearer home on the subject of being mentally challenged

You also mentioned the Princess Street END. The Ground has the Wheldon Road End and the Railway End, but as far as I'm aware, there is no Princess Street END. There's a Princess Street STAND.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven... A time to weep and a time to laugh... A time to keep and a time to throw away... A time of war and a time of peace.. A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together.

I'm not really interested what the locals call it, it's still the Princess St end to me' but while yer on can you tell me if the wall on the street has been rebuilt because old tigerade can't seem to make his up his mind whether it has or not, and the last thing I and the thousands' of other Wakey fans travelling to the match want is to be turned away because of ground restrictions.

I see. So you're admitting you're wrong, but saying that it's not important.

Odd. The word "still" implies that it was once called that. It wasn't. The "ends" of a rugby field are the edges where the posts/trylines are, the halves of the field defended by a player or team. [see http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/defin ... nglish/end definition 2.4] The touchlines are not the ends. The Princess Street Stand runs along the touchline not behind the posts. It's not an end, nor has it ever been one. You can call it anything you like, but it doesn't stop you being completely wrong.

No because I don't live anywhere near Cas any more, sorry!

2014 Average SL Attendances:

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats: 4,351
Castleford Tigers: 7,068

TBH after last season at your ground, I thought you'd be used to it. :D

As you can read below, the stand was available for today's match against Widnes Vikings, so everything will be fine when the Wildcats and all your thousands' [sic] of fans turn up.

Deary me!!,

"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall"

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League"

For the love of Taylor Swift. :WALL:

Roll on the start of of the new season when we can talk about game related stuff instead of guff like Tigers wearing orange, Councillor Box affection for CTRLFC and wall's blowing over.
