Go back to 2005 and Hull fans could use a Challenge Cup final victory (not at Wembley obviously) to wind up us Robins. In 2006 you finished 2nd in Super League and runners up in the Grand Final at Old Trafford. Genuine bragging rights. All the while, your crowds were improving and year on year profits were being posted. We had to sit and take it as a National League club who got the odd day out at Blackpool.
Fast forward to 2015 and what are we being wound up about......???

What next? You sell more beer than us? Oh, hang on, touchy subject.
Tough times.

At that time I don't remember thinking about Rovers one little bit. Rovers were completely none sequential. It was Leeds we all hated and still do as they were the nenchmark and in a way still are. If any club has a better season than Leeds then generally it will be a good one, not Rovers

Ah, the wheel of fortune's turned it's true. Allow us our little bit of fun.
Interesting use of reference point. Let's do 5 years. Go back to 2009. You were flying high in 4th, with average gates of 9k and 6900 passholders and the talismanic Morgan at the helm. We were labouring under Agar, producing no homegrown talent and no half backs. Fast forward to 2015. We've both suffered declining attendances and passholders (percentagewise I guess yours is more dramatic?) and you've dropped 5 places whilst we're about the same? We've had a major final since, clearly. Bragging rights change hands pretty much each time there's a game. In that relatively level playing field why not have a little snigger at reportedly getting a quarter of the number of fans to a forum that we do? Your fans let off flares in the battle for 9th
On topic a little. I see RH are in talks with us to host another forum. Is this a good idea? I seriously think the prospect of Lloyd hosting it would impact attendance. Didn't listen last night but was the production and questioning top notch / better than our in-house version?

I prefer to mock the fact you haven't made a major final in 30 years and lets be honest it doesn't look likely to change anytime soon.
We may have had some poor times since 2007, but in that time we have won play off games, won 2 semi finals and got to two major finals, it may not be the greatest success story, but paps all over your recent achievements. No wonder your fans celebrated a friendly win like it was a major cup final.

was looking forward to listening to the game up here in jockland, but was peed off with lloyd and his muppets yapping to each other, instead of telling what was happening on the pitch.i should have gone haggis shooting, more fun.
born in airlie str,1939.german landmine that fell on boulevard, also blew up half of our house.thats why i dont like germans.not because they blew our house and boulevard up,but because the gerry pillock was aiming for craven park.

Think there are alternatives now. Don't the club do online commentary? Don't know what it's like, but would guess it's relatively positive in tone.

Fair enough but this might just about do your lot.

Remember this? That's a better post and maybe the word "Easily" I used was over the top, but to suggest he is on something for a reasonable guess is over the top from you
Whose over the top now? "No wonder your fans celebrated a friendly win like it was a major cup final.[/quote]" Beating FC comes relatively easily as our record since entering Super League shows. Of course we celebrate as you do when you win. We just do it more often.
