I suppose with 3 millions+ copies of Charlie Hebdo being printed, we can now blame them for deforestation and global warming

Quite possibly yes, although the Irish conflict was less religous than political , if you want to look back through history to find other similar situations, I'm sure you could find them, but you cannot change the past
