At no point did I suggest that all FC fans shared those views or even if I did myself.

Had a little chuckle at this last sentence as it reminds me of a long term City supporter on a current football forum who always finishes his posts as follows.

" The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine"

A Very Happy New Year to you too .

A bit out of context......

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

I don't support City, but I certainly don't hate them either.

I'd like to see them do well. As people have said, them being in the Premier League gives the city alot of exposure. Anything that helps the city in some way is alright in my book.

On the other hand, the way the Allams treat Hull FC, and generally handle themselves, is a disgrace. He won't be around forever.

Not a great day for City. Are the Allam's going to back Bruce's urgent need for reinforcements?

Didn't Barmby say something similar in the press before being dragged up the stairs at Allam Marine?

That was exactly what I thought. Assumed there must be assurances in place for Bruce to be so unequivocal about the need for signings.

Walton Street Car Park passes up 25% to £50.00.

Mr Allam must be laughing all the way to the bank.

edit: Same price City are being charged for the 2014-15 season, (£5 on the day).

This seems to have come out of the blue.....

Hull City fans' bid for stake in future of KC Stadium – an asset of community value

Quote:Mr Allam also questioned whether the application had considered the interests of fans of Hull FC, the second "tenant" of the KC.

The bid to apply for a stake in the KC may have come out of the blue, at least to non members of their group but their Trust itself has been many months in the setting up stage. I believe representatives of the, then proposed, Hull City Trust attended a meeting and a workshop at the KC Light stream stadium, along with speakers from another football and rugby club when HKR fans had formalised/were finalising their own Supporters Trust which itself has been in operation for many months. It was actually very interesting to find out how many other sporting clubs, both in the UK, and abroad actually have supporter trusts or similar. IIRC Barcelona have a fans trust consisting of tens of thousands of members who have many voting rights and similar legal responsibilities at their particular club. Regards our own sport I think Widnes were the first to set up a trust but unsure how many are currently operating with R.L.

Good post yes you can't just grab a few fans and call yourself a trust to do this it, might have come out of the blue but the actual setting up of the constituted body they need to do it has been going on for months. Perhaps we need a supporters trust!
