Just don't get the outright hatred & desire for tigers to get relegated ?

On a pure business front there is £60 mill parachute money if relegated but FFS there is £130 mill minimum if they stay up. He will spend in January to protect his investment if nothing else.

I do resent his apparent warfare on FC & all things Hull Council related but think we should all move on. His rantings now seem less frequent or venemous & he definitely does put money into the community.

Note no more mention of the need to extend KC Stadium ? Less than 22k for Swansea at £16 a head, Leicester tomorrow is £35 !!

Just so reminiscent of David Lloyd - a property deal gone wrong, but as others have said both clubs will exist for many many years regardless of ownera.

They need a striker....they saw the money and flogged long, turned Austin down due to concerns on a medical, what's he doing now...oh yeah, scoring for fun and keeping QPR out of danger.....if the can't beat Teams below them, they get what they deserve

Starting to look like a dogfight certainly. More off pitch rumblings about renaming the Facebook page, pay and rumour of new American owners. Like a soap opera.

Long is not a reliable goal scorer though - he's not done anything at saints since his move. hes a hard worker but not a 10 plus goals a season player. austin though is a different thing altogether - he's always scored goals, big error from city (albeit with the benefit of hindsight) city have tried the overseas route with herdandez, it does not appear to be working, i would test blackburn's resolve on rhodes, he's another player who has scored goals everywhere he's gone, and is worth the gamble. city seem to specialise in signing strikers who don't score goals - time to get one who does score - rhodes

The referee's indecision is final

I wouldn't say Austin is keeping Rangers out of danger but the irony has not been lost on me and my boys. :D

In relation to the £60 / £130 million conundrum, every club in the bottom half of the Premiership have the same puzzle apart from Burnley, who won't spend. I recall City fans rejoicing when the summer transfer window closed. Millions spent, but the result is there for all to see. Money isn't everything at the bottom. QPR know that all to well. You have to have a spirit in the squad. See Palace last season and Burnley this. Without that you fail. City can't play at home. Crowds dipping. It's starting to look tough. It's not impossible. Two wins and all will start to look and feel good, but their 2014 form even with millions spent is not looking good.

You don't understand the dislike for a club who's fans despise us and who's owner has one everything in his power to make life difficult for us? You don't understand the wish for ill fortune to befall a club who's fans and owner would be delighted to see us go out of business?

Really?

Overstatement to say City fans want FC to go out of business. Especially if you are basing your opinion on posts on forums. I would expect only a few of the 22,000 plus would want that to happen. A poor response to an entire club because a vociferous minority post a few uncomplimentary remarks. Your attitude is how wars start.

It's not all fans though is it? I have to admit that in my heart when I hear about a City defeat and their problems I just can't help being sort of pleased. I'm sure though that we all work with , know or even live with Hull City fanatics where their team means just as much to them as FC does to us so in the cold light of day I find it difficult to wish harm on them or hope that they go down. It's such a pity that Allam has acted the way he has. With just a different attitude , granted maybe from one or two other people as well , both teams could be rooting for each other and celebrating the good things that the KC has brought rather than being in the state we're in. Certainly it will do neither team or the City any good if they get relegated other than to give us a couple of weeks of smug satisfaction of seeing Allam fail. Then what?
