Maybe, but no we couldn’t hear anything (sat right facing on the other side). All the other teams seemed to be grouped together and made a quite bit of noise, we were all over the place so it may have seemed loud to the few hundred who were together, but nothing to the rest of the stadium. I’d like to see us sell our allocation and all be group together like we were the previous year – the “I see the Salford Reds Arising” under the concourse was immense.
Salford RLFC
Folly ARLFC
Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try

thats down to the club, they should have sold them to season ticket holders first.when my mate got his there was a bloke from wigan buying a few and a woman from warrington, as they had sold there allocations.

They were on sale for months. The majority left it til the last minute, and the club ended up scrambling around for extra tickets in the hastily opened top tier.
Tickets for the upcoming magic weekend are already on sale from Salford. Hopefully people will buy earlier this year meaning we end up with a bigger allocation of the decent seats.

That wasn't the whole issue though. There was something else, I just can't remember what it was now!

Wasn't it to do with the club making half price magic weekend tickets part of the season ticket deal, but then not actually putting a period aside specifically for season ticket holders to get them? Meanwhile the stadium company were selling them half price to any Tom Dick or Harry, meaning that legit season ticket holders would have missed out if the uper tier hadn't been opened. True, people could have bought early, but if you sell 2000 season tickets with a promise of a half price magic weekend ticket, you set aside a window in which you know 2000 people could buy. Then they go on open sale and then so season ticket holder can complain if they missed out.
