Buster made some pretty big references in the paper that not all was well at the club, he wasn't happy with how the club and team were being ran, also stating that he wasn't happy and wasn't enjoying his rugby.
I know buster reads this site so I will say this
Buster there are a lot of fans who feel that you had sold cougars down the river and for that you have much making up to do, having said that, it takes someone with guts, nerve and some determination to say 'I got it wrong', it's now time to start enjoying your rugby again and show the fans why you are a cougar through and through

Just read this but sorry Al that statement is a bit extreme, whether it is your own views or not ,but to be levelled at a player who has given the best part of half of his life to the Club is wrong wrong wrong ......
Making up to do ??.....sorry butwhat about those players we've signed, who after careers that have former clubs running into double figures , we are happy to allow to bugger off to pastures new ... have they not sold us down the river ??

Those other players that have left for bigger contracts have indeed looked after their own wants and needs as did buster, however I don't recall other players being so negatively vocal about how the club is ran etc...... this is how he has been seen to have sold the club down the river, having stated negative things publicly that put the club in a bad light, that's the difference Rach, whether a player has been with us 2 years or 10 years in this situation matters not.
I stand by my views and I am not alone on this.
As stated in my previous post, it takes guts to say 'I got it wrong' and Buster also agrees as he has stated this in the paper which will go a long way to bringing him back in favour with fans, good on him I say
