Love him or loathe him, his meteoric rise to fame has been amazing for a Dumfries lad who was stacking shelves only a few years ago. His recent earnings can only be described as phenomenal. I don't know how he's done it but he's done it.

Because generally, human beings these days are particularly sheep-like and just blindly like whatever the radio tells them is 'good'. Calling him a musician for what he does is like me scrawling my own name with turd on a piece of toast and calling it 'art'.

Any band that gives a rubbish concert - particularly on purpose to be "cool" or because they get so off their face they can't see straight. I didn't mind so much when I was younger (it was part of the show watching the Happy Mondays), but I resent it now.
In fact disappointing live acts. The House of Love were awful once (being outshone by A House shows real commitment to doing a bad gig), as were Supergrass when I saw them in Amsterdam. They too were blown away by the support act, partly because they seemed desperate to play everything as loud as possible, and partly because the Presidents of the USA were just so much fun.
One thing that really, really annoys me, is singers (mostly female), who can't pronounce a word properly when the penultimate letter in that word is 'R', they have to elongate it so it sounds like erererererrr, for example, the word 'hurt' would become 'hururururrrt'. That really, REALLY annoys me
