I think the presence of a Supporters Trust type group is vital, especially this year. I was sat on the way home from work the other day thinking about the club and 2015 could be a testing year.
A year at Enfield Town Football Club, who were fantastic hosts, will have cost the club a fair amount in rent and the time at the QEII Stadium was unexpectedly extended which probably cost the club a bit more in rent.
There is a bigger scope for income this year with more teams in the league but on the other hand, more teams means more away games and a bigger cost on the club for travel with trips to Barrow, Gateshead, South Wales alongside the usual trips to heartland teams. Until we know the fixtures are released this evening, there is a possibility that the club could see smaller crowds at the New River if both Skolars and London Broncos are at home on the same days. That's something we need to look into after 9pm tonight but it's still something that needs to be taken into consideration.
Having spent a large amount in 2014 on rent and having to spend out more this year on travel to away games, I think it would be nice if the fans could contribute in some sort of way.
Spot on and it turns out that there are a lot of clashes between Skolars and Broncos. Its also gonna be a much more competitive league. If we are not going to experience lots of heavy defeats we really need to up the performance level.
