I don't think it is arrogant to suggest that we're one of the clubs that will attract the most media interest given our recent success and then fall from grace. Despite struggling throughout 2014 on the pitch we continued to get reasonable attendances, so I would expect our crowds will be big in comparison to most in the Championship.

I certainly don't expect an easy ride in the Championship next year, we're heading into a bit of an unknown and face two of the more established teams in our first few games. I suspect a section of our support are expecting we will come straight back up, I'm not so confident if I'm honest given the odds are stacked against that. I don't think we can sustain the level of investment we've made on and off the pitch for too long in the Championship though so if we don't manage it at the first attempt the hurdle will become greater IMO.

Well I know that isn't true because Hull have never been in the lower division since the late 70's when they went through unbeaten. They finished 2nd bottom in the late 90's / 2000 but never got relegated. Hull KR were in the lower leagues.

I think the record is Cas v Hull KR (or it maybe Widnes) which drew nearly 9000. It was a few years ago though. The Widnes v Salford game used to be the record.

You know the season cannot be too far away when FA starts his training programme, though you could have chosen a bit of a tougher friendly as your first run out FA. How about an away match at Wakefield next???

We need FA to time his run so he’s in top form for the Wakefield fixtures at the end of the season.

Of course you'll have an advantage. You'll be on roughly equal terms with London and Leigh, but it will not be the cake walk some of your fans think when you have to vist us, Halifax, Doncaster, Sheffield, Dewsbury and even Batley.

You will lose some of these games, the semi pro teams will see you very much as the team to raise their game for.

I don't think any reasonable Bulls fan believes next season will be a "cake Walk" but given that Leigh won 26 from 27 the season just gone i'd be surprised if we lose to any of the teams mentioned above.
