Pretty classless post when you purport to be sympathetic :-(

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Win lose or draw Batley broke the rules thats why the points were taken in the first place, its only due to complete incompetence at the RFL that they were reinstated, very true we wont be going to Batley as we are in C1 but karma is a wonderful thing, be careful what you wish for, whoops my bad ! whatever that means.

Haven't wished for out mate and don't like fishing either my posts are prompted by some proper drivel on here
Not one of you has thought the points deduction in the first place was wrong 6 other clubs have made the same mistake without punishment regardless of your relegation you can't punish one club and not the others

I've read your forum several times to get the Batley perspective and I can say that amongst the sensible posts is a fair share of drivel and worse. I didn't lower myself to a response.

It's been discussed over and over again and we are now in "Groundhog Day" mode so I won't reply to this either.

It now comes down to whether we want to spend cash on a (possibly long) legal fight or whether we just get on with fighting for promotion.

My opinion of the Rfl is at an all time low. They have taken the cowards option of dragging it on to the point where they think they will win by default.

Correct Dreamer but the RFL probably can go lower still, incompetence knows no bounds, we need to concentrate on gaining promotion within the rules and the "you never punished them" loophole has to be closed, another club will be wronged by the RFL, trust me, sympathy ? not from me.

Actually agree with you and John on this my little poke was really aimed at halifax cougar as he has a real dislike for us nothing to do with reasonable minded cougar fans I believe all 7 clubs yes North Wales included should be fined and the money given to Keighley
Believe Keighley will be strong enough to bounce back and no consulation to you but we have an almighty fight to stay in this league and we may pass you next season on the way down its going to be tough, I'm done now we're not getting anywhere with this thread, all the best

I felt like that a long time ago! Nonsense is spouted in high doses in all all RL forums.

We will see what happens. Whatever the outcome the DR nonsense needs ending before it happens again. Sadly it has taken the relegation of cougars under controversial circumstances to properly raise this issue.

The RFL are the biggest bunch of w*nkers ive ever come across. A total embarrassment to the game, in fact ruining the game. I do think Batley should have had -3 points, it was a mistake to reinstate them. That issue is with the RFL, not Batley fans.

A response from the RFL is due tomorrow http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/s ... re_on_RFL/

The RFL response coming tomorrow has been known for some time.

However, the fixtures weren't dated for Sunday, they were dated for next week according to my calendar which I'd say 95% is dated by the RFL.

Convenient eh?

No, not convenient. Extremely well-planned, devious and underhand.

We are from Keighley. We are NOT Bradfordians.

The RFL has just plumbed now depths.

The 6 month ban on Ben Flower to start immediately! When does he start missing a game?

What punishment is that?

All Clubs are equal but some are more equal than others!
