According to my sources a massive fire off Listerhills near the FC. Tell me the FC is safe? Surely the carpet was so sodden it could never burn down.

I think it was the Uni' side of the road. Couldn't see it from dark, dank corner of the office I live in but the lads down the other end with their palatial views of the computer centre / library car park were talking about it.

I moved to Bradford in November 1992. Mid-week I went out for a few beers with my new great mates. We had a couple in the long lost MacRory’s, then someone suggested the FC. A lass from work dropped me & a colleague off on Preston Street. I got out of the car, she drove off, it was cold, damp, foggy & deserted. I thought this is it, I am going to die. Then we opened the door to the FC. The sad thing is the area is even worse now, than back then, especially Handel Street which joins Preston Street.

Great idea. Any excuse to get out the satin fop shirt with shoulder pads, chiffon asymmetric draped swirling skirt, flared Basque jacket, Robin Hood boots, eyeliner, lipstick & mullet haircut. You could wear your Rhinos top.
