Ive seen much worse defending in pretty much every super league game I have watched this season

Any genuine fans on this thread or it is still an outlet for slagging off the game?
Been an interesting start to the domestic season with some real eye-catching results. Not sure that they mean much at this stage of the season but there looks to be much more competition for the Top 4 places than in other seasons, particularly from Bath and Wasps.
Gloucester have been very disappointing after a big off-season, and are fully deserving of their criticism in the press after some very negative tactical decisions, not least at home against Exeter when they chose to kick a penalty at 12-25 down.
That said it's been an enjoyable start, there are normally some very entertaining games at this point in the season before the weather and the pitches turn and stifle the attacking intent.

For the first time in a long time I sat through a full 80 minutes of Rugby Union today. One of my good friends plays for Sale (Mike Haley, fullback) so I tuned into the Sale/Munster game to see how he went on.
It was a very entertaining game which involved some good attacking rugby. It went down to the wire and unfortunately Munster won it on the last play with a drop goal. However, it made me think how glad I am that we don't have contested scrums anymore in RL. One scrummage went on for about 2 minutes, it collapsed 4 times until the referee gave a penalty. If they eliminated that area of the game then I'd gladly watch more of the club game, was pleasantly surprised by it today.

You chose a good one to watch Bluenose, best game of the weekend for mine. And most Union fans would agree on the farcical state of the scrum. It can 'ruin' an otherwise good game.

I'm so glad the BBC are paying £40M a year for this poop, I tried watching it, found the rewind button and just fast forwarded the dull bits. I counted one scrum at 105 seconds between the ball going dead to ball coming out..they seriously need to sort that out at international level. Everyone saying Wales should win given England's loss of players but the way Lancaster uses his tactics he can stifle a game really easily in the forwards and England have a decent pack especially the back 3. Was Hartley any good?

Why? Genuine question......why would you watch a sport you don't like?
