Black Oak Arkansas were formed in 1963. Hardly new but all the same a very good recommendation.

I went to an evening with Stuart Maconie recently and he said the same. It isn't always about hearing the potential next big thing play to a crowd of 20 in the pub. It's just as exciting to hear an obscure record for the first time from decades ago.

Two new bands I've just got into. The Struts , in my opinion, imagine early Queen crossed with the Darkness Narcs, a bit thrashy but very energetic.
