What is a "collision" What is "the wrestle"
these are made up terms designed by Sky, there are play the balls, ball and all tackles, etc. but all this made up rugby league text speak is just nonsense.
Beg to differ that they are made up terms from SKY and have no meaning.
The game has evolved, techniques and new terms too, same as Game Management.
They may be buzz words but they are now frequently used at all levels and all have meanings and a purpose.
Collision. Does the attacking player gain ground, push through the tackle area (advantage line) and gain a quick play the ball and/or manage to hit the deck finding his knee's. Or is the defence "DOMINANT" and take the player backwards, stop his momentum and negate a quick play. How many times do we talk about our halves being behind a beaten pack etc
This works into the wrestle, if one man/two men makes the tackle and player is stopped but allowed to play the ball quicker or hit the ground and get up tackle complete. puts defence on back foot if other players are making back the 10 metres. Or do you wrap up the man, clamp the ball in whilst keeping the tackle movement going so although the player is secure he is not 'Held'. Work him over, turtle onto his back with his head facing his own goal line. Or work him on the gorund so he is unable to get off until the defenders peel away, all done legally to slow the play the ball down.
Game management, choice of plays when in the lead or looking to get back into a close game. Taking less risky options, better kick choices, not getting tackled into touch on play 1 in your own 20, not giving away needless penalties or on the flip side giving them away at the right times. Even something as basic as not passing the ball if you dont need to (Leeds v Catalans in this years playoffs?) there is a lot more i could add to this but it is a worthwhile term IMHO

it's very similar to "let's meet when we both have time" to "let's see if we can find a window in our schedule", both meant the same but the latter is used to sound more important.

So Hutchie (a guy actually involved in the game) spends the time to give you a good response to your inane ramblings, and you just respond with more claptrap?
It's no wonder you and your opinion on here have such little credibility. You have a complete inability to back up your nonsense.

I have every respect for Karl, but I don't have to agree (and he wouldn't expect me to pretend I did)
and when did I ever seek any credibility, my opinion is just that, my opinion, I've never cared what anyone else thinks.

I am consistent in that.
So he's explained what a collision is, what the wrestle is and what game management is, yet your response is to compare two sayings with similar meanings?
Ok. What else means "collision" in RL terms? Or "the wrestle" or "game management"?

no, my response is they are meaningless terms, overcomplicating a fairly simple game, it's an OPINION.
It's time some people realised that RLFans is about OPINION.

So you personally know Radford do you ? or you attend every Hull Fc training session and have seen Radford "bullying" players so make this statement or is it more of your made up claptrap.
