No.

Sadly for whoever the England manager is, most of the strongest members of the future squads for England are going to be Liverpool players. Sterling and Sturridge are two of the very few bright spots in a woeful squad. In a position of strength Hodgson would be able to do a Ben Flowers on Brendan Rodgers. But Hodgson isn't in a position of strength, he needs to put on a dress and makeup and meet Rodgers in the hotel of Rodgers choosing.

Quote:And is there any reason why Chambers is now England right-back ahead of Clyne other than 'he signed for Arsenal'.

I just think it would be funny if Clyne played the race card, just to really mess the situation up.

Walcott going to the his first World Cup. Luke Shaw going to Brazil. Those call ups shame SGE and Hodgson. I haven't paid any attention to Clyne so can't offer an opinion, but that's possibly another situation when an England manager suddenly decides to rate a player because a big clubs manager has signed him.

Am I the only person who thinks Sterling is a bit overrated?? .... :?

He looks great in the middle third of a pitch, with the ball at his feet and a bit of space around him, but, from what I've seen of him, his final ball is absolutely terrible - He also seems to have the bizarre habit of getting his feet in a tangle whenever he is in a position to shoot.

Of course, he has plenty of time to improve, but, if you believe the media, he is already good enough to be a Real Madrid Galactico - I'd suggest he signs a new contract at Liverpool, because all he would get at the Bernabeu is splinters in his backside.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Ain't going to be much of a Galactico if he's ''**TIRED**'', after a cameo against San Marino

Wow. Fellaini take a bow. Always loved him at Everton. Sod playing him in defensive midfield, get him up front. It was always his best position for Everton, when we had no half decent strikers. No defense in world football could cope with him, especially when you've got Di Maria and Mata teeing him up.

Incredible to see how poorly United are defending. A high line, enormous gaps between the centre back and fullback, just begging to be cut apart on the counter by anyone with even a slight hint of pace.

Two centre backs needed in January if they are to get into the Europa this season. Van Persie must be a concern for them as well. I've never seen a player go from peerless to powerless so quickly. He's aged 10 years in a season.

Apart from his last season at Arsenal and first at MU he's always been a massive sick note. He's 31 now so it's likely he's really feeling all those injuries adding up.

Van Gaal is a managerial genius, isn't he?...... All that money on all that supposed quality, yet when it all comes down to it, you simply play the 'hoof it up to the big man' tactic??..... Brilliant!!...
