Hilarious stuff. Got to give the guy credit he's possibly the only Political leader in the country who could pull this off. Could you imagine Milliband or Cameron trying this?

It may be that Farage saw what happened with Ronald Reagan and believes he can do the same.
Fortunately (for the British public) he has neither the financial resource or human resource behind him.
It'll be interesting to see which seat Mark Reckless will be cntesting in May 2015 because he sure as hell won't get re-elected in the by-election he triggered

On your second point, the bookies have UKIP as 1/2 favourites for the Rochester seat. I would expect UKIP to have some bounce from a convincing win in Clacton.

Nothing to do with his policies then ?
Science flies people to the moon. Religion flies people into buildings.
The thing with all parties on all sides is they have a policy you firmly agree with on one subject and then another policy you absolutely just can't stomach.
When it comes to the Euro elections I am UKIP all the way, we don't need all the bureaucracy, the semi elected political gravy train making a one size fits all policy for the whole of Europe. Ukip are the only party I can vote for that are palatable. Domestically UKIP...NO CHANCE.

So you're happy to vote for a party whose only real "contribution" to the EU is to accept the salary and expenses that go with the job?
Take a look at their voting records and then look at the groups they are allied with in Europe.
Sorry but to me voting for UKIP because of their policies on Europe is like converting to catholicism because you like to eat fish on Fridays
