A good portion of last night's meeting by Gary was to underline the great need for voluntary helpers at the club, the 'Team Cougar behind the team'. Because the club have had to cut back on the non-playing staff to concentrate on the playing staff there are many jobs need doing and, at the moment either Gary or Paul March try to do them if and when they can. Gary even press-gangs family members!
What the club needs is for anyone with a couple of hours per week to just come down and do some of these jobs whether it be tidying up after a match day or doing a bit of simple maintenance work at your own time. We are also going to try and get some more 'painting parties' together a couple of Saturday mornings to do essential painting work on such things as the crash barriers. When we play a game we want visiting fans to only go away with a positive impression of the club and know that Cougars are back and going places again! Let's make our Cougar Park once more a place to be proud of. If you can help out please contact the club and give us YOUR contacts – thanks!
Re last night meeting and the voluntary helpers needed to help the club progress I myself have time to help with odd jobs at the club but feel there's a need for some kind of calendar on the clubs website to say whats happening and when also if the club would like us to try bring our own tools to do the task This may also lead to others helping that can schedule time knowing they are best suited to the task asked that day
Just been to Keighlians Club and apparently they have 16 volunteers down every Wednesday helping around the ground. Surely we can do as good or better than that?

Think you've talked yourself into a job (another one) there?!
In terms of tidying up, I know the terraces will always be untidy.
There are not many bins to throw rubbish in. Are we allowed to put out a load of bins around the ground to save time or is there red tape stopping this from happening?
