Unless it's a smokescreen that looks like he's really committed. Not.

I reckon he's worth a punt with a season contract and possibly an extension if it goes well.

Exactly. Sounds like an expensive mistake waiting to happen if his head's not in it.

Too old for me. We have enough cover in the back row and do we really want to sign a 34 year old centre on a 2 year deal? We need pace in the 3/4's

No way anyone can know that though. He's a very professional person by all accounts and i'd doubt he'd come over if he wouldn't be 100% committed.

Still not sure where he'd play though! Impact 2nd row by moving Ellis to prop and spelling Mini? All our back three play long minutes, Ellis & Westy 80 and Mini can easily play 60 at least.
