I'm no United fan but Clattenberg has got to be stood down over that penalty decision there. Vardy shoves Rafael about twelve feet through the air and he ignores it. Vardy runs into the box and throws himself to the floor at the feet of Rafael with almost no contact and he gives a penalty. Now I have seen them given for that previously, but it just invalidates the decision to not give United the free kick for the blatant shove in the back initially. Bizarre.

Cry me a river. Ashley young thinks it was a penalty

All those united fans jizzing themselves over stupid lop sided signings look like idiots.

I have never seen a more blatant free-kick ignored than that shove in the back, then the dive rounded it off perfectly. Comfortable at 3-1 before that. Not sure about the red card either, De Laet should have walked for a second yellow with that shove on Di Maria. That said, Leicester have been very good on their Premier League return, and they have a great crowd behind them.

It was terrible reffing.

I think there is a possibility that it was a fair shoulder charge initially. I'd have to watch it again but it is possible. But having shown his strength with the first challenge he simply fell to the floor when he felt Rafael close. I'd have booked him for diving for that. But Clattenburg renounced his Man United club membership and gave the pen.

I'm glad that United got screwed by Clattenburg, but there is no doubt he screwed them.

No doubt the genius that is LVG predicted everything that happened in the game like he's predicted all the preceding games. But if he's predicting they are going to be so bad, why doesn't he do anything to change it?

United and their 160million worth of mercenaries, destroyed by a guy who cost 1million from the conference.

Strange how quiet the Blueshites have been since late this afternoon. They seemed in full voice yesterday evening. Funny that......

Great game at the Etihad. I love Zabaleta but that was a crazy challenge when on a yellow.

Very impressed with Mangala's debut especially considering it was his first game in 4 months. Could be a brilliant parnership with Kompany. Seems weird that he is being kept out of France's team by a player that cant get into Liverpool's defense.

Would anyone else in Roy Hodgson's position be tempted to just tell Liverpool and their players that they will no longer be considered for England selection?

And is there any reason why Chambers is now England right-back ahead of Clyne other than 'he signed for Arsenal'.
