They have one serving MP returned to Westminster from the 2010 General Election!

based on national pride, not rational thought.

Anyway, the referendum...

Even the Lib-Dums and their conservative leader won 11 seats.
Mind you, suppose one is better than none. :D

No need to be vocal to vote, just put your X on a piece of paper. You can do it in secret too!

Within my lifetime the tories have held the majority of seats in Scotland, they just watched them all dwindle away to one

I am still convinced of that but I must admit that a growing part of me is leaning towards "feck'em, let them wallow in their own mire"

Any Scots who think Salmond is a socialist are in for a very rude awakening.

He views TTIP as a "massive opportunity for Scotland", all they need do is look at how he bent over while Donald Trump dry-bummed him. He's already been called out over his lies on safeguarding the NHS.

Wee Eck is an obnoxious little upstart but I can't blame Scots for swallowing his rhetoric, we've got plenty South of the border who are falling for Farage's bollox too

don't disagree with any of that cod'ead

Think I'll tune into the Jon Snow hosted live debate at 10pm on C4 tonight.
Michelle Mone is a panellist so it'll make one of our Sin-Binners happy. :D
Guardian 2010 profile quote on Mone is fairly amusing -: ''she grew up a Scottish Labour voting Protestant and is now a Conservative voting Catholic who David Cameron invited to come and address his cabinet.'' :)

This was an old style barn storming Labour Politician, giving it the full monty of blood and thunder......and I have to say, I was more than a little impressed! Michael Foot would have been proud. And if that doesn't convince the waiverers, then nothing will.

Which kinda begs the question...why was that very nice, but very straight middle class chappie Alistair Darling ever allowed to publically debate with Salmond? Who is simply Rab C Nesbitt in a suit, and kicked the booty out of Darling a couple of weeks ago, and got the YES campaign back on track.

I fully agree with you. As a critic of Gordon Brown in his previous roles I openly doff my cap to his passionate and effective intervention on behalf of the Better Together campaign. Under the timid leadership of Darling and Alexander the No campaign had never got out of first gear and it needed Buster Brown to shoulder charge his way to the front and give it some much needed momentum and challenge the lies that Salmond and co have been spouting about the National Health Service in Scotland. I hope it was not too late!

It's amazing how people behave when they realise they could be out of a job. He wasn't fighting for anything other than his personal gravy train.
