There is a pretty good chance that one the independence vote is over the natural Labour voters will return to the party meaning the SNP will not form then next Scottish government no matter what the result, this campaign has taken its told on Salmond, he looks done in and it will be down to the rest of his party to carry the fight on.

Lord Elpers wrote:Well your prediction is not looking too good as nearly 4.3 million have registered to vote in the referendum which is about 97% of those eligible.

The hard part is getting people out to vote on the day.

I haven't really been following this whole YES/NO charade. After catching some of it on Newsnight last night nobody seems to know what they're actually voting for. I don't know if it was the BBC staging it to look like a shambles or whether that really is the case. Then add to that the pro-union rally with Izzard, Murray Geldof et al all pushing their own agendas and the whole thing just came across as a circus. Had to laugh at media whore Michelle Mone when she proudly proclaimed she was a YES then realised she actually meant to say NO. If it does result in a YES I hope we don't end up with her south of the border.

It appears the no campaign is starting to win the battle - Thursday will be an interesting day.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Must admit I thinks it time Cameron and Clegg got home and started governing the country again.

The problem is of course, the undecided voters. And Salmond, for all his bullshit, knows that deep within the psyche of every Scotsman is that wee kernel of ingratitude, and feelings of resentment when it comes to everything English, and has constantly and not so subtly crowbarred a negative mention of London into most of his statements.

This has, of course found a a very receptive audience amongst those less intelligent followers, who appear to make up the majority of the yes campaign.

Will it manifest itself on Thursday, if enough of the undecided take the opportunity to raise a couple of fingers towards England, and to hell with the consequences?

Or is there enough amongst their ranks to seriously consider their and Scotland's future before deciding devo max is the best way forward?

Either way, it should be a very busy weekend for Scotland's police Forces in the aftermath....

A pretty good chance based on what? Scottish Labour has lost the last 2 elections, being taken apart last time. Where is the resurgence in support going to come from?

I think it will be a No vote, but it won't be anything to do with Scottish Labour.

because the SNP are, in reality, a single policy party, they may as well have branded themselves "The Independence" party, they don't really have anyone capable of running a country long term.
