Aye, he's had a great season. Can't blame the lad for wanting to broaden his horizons. Hope he plays a bit of RL over there, learns a lot, then comes back to Keighley after we've been promoted . Sorry to see the other lads go too. Understandable but I'd really rather it wasn't Batley.
James Craven: On the whole a goog fullback, produced some fine last man tackles, ran the ball out well and scored some wonderful tries. However, occasionally week under the high ball ( allowing it to bounce), and flails at kick throughs.
Sean Hesketh, big lad, big hits, big bust with an offload. However, a bit flat footed against nimble attackers and in my opinion a tad overweight/ unfit.
Josh lynam, fleet, nimble, hard hitting and a cougar through and through, sad to loose him but inevitable if he wants to progress his career. Good luck Josh.
James Haley, very strong, very determined, sad to see him go.
Looks like the team are looking at the worse case scenario and acting accordingly. A bit hard to chew on the fact that some are going to Batley but that's life. I just hope we are able to recruit some suitable replacements.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.
Good news that Law, Sheriffe and cherryholme are staying. Along with buster and Brendan we have the basis to build a pack around. Would be nice to see a big rollicking enforcer type forward recruited.
