We've had a nice quiet week or so. How about everybody takes a deep breath, has a nice cup of tea, and calms down. Maybe re-read the post at the top of the forum and have a ponder.

Anyone who thinks AP will respond to fans putting less money into the club by simply shovelling more in himself ad infinitum are deluded. He puts in enough to see us up to the cap, plus transfer fees, plus paying players off, plus investing in the academy. Whilst we may not agree with all his decisions he's doing it with the best intentions. Withholding our support as part of the deal is just risking sending the club to the wall in my opinion. No one else apart from AP wants to back us so we can either galvanize behind him, his best intentions and already significant backing, or sign the club's death warrant by pi$$ing off.
Two choices. Are you in the boat with the club, rowing and baling out water, or standing like a twatt on the bank shouting "You're sinking" with a self-righteous smirk and an extra £0.68 a day in your pocket for the next year? Have a word.
Bit dramatic that, going for a lie down.
Oddly AP doest pay everything. The club has income of £5mill pa

The club loses money. He owns the club. He could go for a cheaper squad but chooses not to and to fund the resultant losses. If people (to be clear, I'm generalising) want to assume he'll continue to do so forever, and shore up the increased income shortfall created by their disengagement, then they are obviously free to do so. But they need to be more realistic about the consequences IMO. In my opinion the result of increased losses will be either balancing the books through a worse squad/reduced academy investment, or the club going into administration unless a buyer can be found. Just my opinion.

The AUP just makes me angry though. We have to read enough mindless drivel on here as it is, without putting ourselves through that
