Well I am getting a pass for next year, can maybe only attend 6 or 7 home games because of work but it's about time I back my club even though this season has been very dissapointing.

I have a season pass because I love Hull FC. nothing else. since I got the bug in 1965 I just love em. Watching the Cream for me is not conditional upon them winning things. Its not even conditional on them playing well. Infact these days the quality is far better these last 3 or 4 seasons than it ever was in the dire late 60s early 70s, but I still went because I just to have to see them. Back then I just had to be thankful of my team upsetting the odds now and again. Sure I got upset, and still do today when we deliver a crap performance, but is that enough to quit ? well you know the answer. Like with any loved one, you forgive mistakes and tantrums and always hope they will come good. I guess I'm like that with the Airlie Birds, I always think they will come good and I know they will again as we did with high spots in the late 50s late 70s and early 80s and that tantalising touch in mid 2005/8. I'll be there when we rise again and it feels so much better when you've been through average times. Even Wigan and and Leeds have been average you know!!. But I'll be there through thick and thin, cos I love them magic colours and the name so much. (The sooner we get back to irregular hoops the better for me) So thats me, there's no debate. I cant understand half of the moaners on here - if you dont like it quit, don't squeal. But.....If you really, I mean really, love Hull Fc then you turn up and you back those given the honour of managing the club and playing in those magnificent colours. Come on support the boys, they are OUR team. ......and this time when we do hit success again, with the structures we have today, I believe Adam Pearson will ensure we stay at the top table. He will fulfill his promise, it's just taking a tad longer getting there than we hoped.

I enjoyed going away to Cumbria with a team of part time journeymen as much as I enjoy anything in the SL era. Most fans did, it's a shame this ugly, and embarrassing "we're owed success" mentality has taken over a section of Hull FC's support. They're a cancer that need to be cut out before it spreads further. Call me an apologist all you want, I apologise for supporting Hull FC.
