I know Galloway can be a bit of a knob but he was brutally beaten in the street by a Zionist and not one politician has condemned the attack. Why is that?
It takes a right wing paper to highlight this complete silence from the political class.

If non of them have then it's disgusting but it also speaks volumes for the career politicians we are saddled with today. Trouble is I thought we had at least a few who had scruples, apparently not. No matter what his views, as the article pointed out, this was an attack on democracy and by definition an attack on all of them. They should NOT be silent on this.

In a way I don't think politicians should be interfering in criminal proceedings by publicly condemning someone who has been arrested and and in custody.
My feeling is that just treating it as an unprovoked and serious assault on a 61 year old man that guy should be looking at a decent jail sentence.
However, the fact it seems no politician in this country can offer sympathy for Galloway after he sustains a suspected broken jaw shows the calibre of politicians we have representing us.

When someone was has a very brief flirt with a city and then comes along and stands outside its town hall and declares the city an Israeli free town, Jews not welcome etc. What do truly expect to happen?
Galloway got exactly what he deserved - he incites a potential racial time bomb in a city which he has used for his own ego-trip and then is not seen again. We even have the Palestinian flag flying from the town hall WTF!!
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

I wonder what the reaction would be if a Muslim attacked any M.P who supported Israel's attacks on Gaza. Pretty sure we would have seen blanket condemnation in the press and in parliament.

It would have been dependant on the attitude and previous behaviour of the person receiving the beating. If they were as arrogant and myopic as Galloway then perhaps the reaction would have been similar - the reaction is about the individual, who many thought had it coming to him
