Don't get me wrong, what Hudgell and Crossland do for us is fantastic and i'd see this as Silver-age for Rovers. That people are even down in the mouth that we struggle to compete with Leeds and Wigan is testament to how far they've brought Rovers, IMO.
Pearson clearly wants the best for Hull too. But he's not just in it for the glory, and he's up against some well structured and well resourced opposition.
It isn't easy. Unless you've got a a fair few million you don't mind not seeing again and a fair wind behind you.
