Did we as fans actually sing one song yesterday, i know the players were bad but we were equally as bad! Very quiet even though it was a good turnout!

1 maybe 2 max. Eclipsed by the 5 numptys who were thrown out for continued bad language & offensive comments according to the steward I spoke to. . It's the same knobs at every away game.

If it was the same group I saw and heard using disgusting language in front of a female member of Wakefield staff, they certainly were old enough to know better and were an embarrassment to the club. I've taken my young boys to a few away games recently (Bradford, Widnes, Magic weekend, yesterday) and every time have been appalled at the actions and disgraceful language being spouted by some of our fans, both male and female. And I'm sorry, blaming it on alcohol is no defence. I'm no prude, but honestly, some of these adults need to take a good look at themselves.

I had the family there and the group of Reds fans behind us had what appeared to be a grandparent with them and he was the worst offender of the group.
They were more embarrassing than our performance and the game would be much better without them being around.

Everything just felt flat, from the atmosphere to the players performance on the pitch. We had a cracking turnout (most of the terracing along the side was Salford), but I think because it was open and a lot of the singers were spread out, nothing ever got going. It would have been a better atmosphere if the singers congregated under the terracing behind the sticks or in that little shed thing near the Benidorm flats (like last year).

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

I was listening to some of our supporters criticising Robert Hicks on a continual basis, despite him getting the majority of his decisions right. I thought the TJ made a couple of dubious calls which Hicks obviously acted on.

The worst one was when Wakefield kicked the ball dead, Greg Johnson wanted to take the tap on the 20 but Hicks wouldn't let him and quite rightly so because half a dozen Salford players were still making their way back to getting on side. Our numpty fans start shouting "there's two teams on this pitch Hicks you f*cking d*ckhead". Embarrassing.

Sounds as though I had a better atmosphere whilst stuck in stand still traffic in sunny Scotland, singing along to Blue Rondo A La Turk

Never mind, next season will be here soon!!

On the 8th day, God created Rugby League
On the 9th day, Satan created Salford.
A battle ensued through to to late on the 12th day.
A few hours later, a truce, and on the final stroke of midnight, Code 13 was created...
Heaven and Hell combined forces and delivered Salford Red Devils...a legacy is born!!!!!

I saw a group of youngish lads under the "shed" who were very loud, but I didn't hear a single bit of encouragement towards Salford from them. It was all "c**t", "t**t" and "w***er" towards the opposition players and the match officials. I'm not quite sure what they thought they were adding to the atmosphere, to be honest. I mean, I'll be heard using those words quite liberally on a match day, in and outside the ground, but that was far too OTT. Dish stick out, by all means, but not pointlessly vile and at the detriment to supporting your team.

You can offer criticism at any game without resulting to gutter language.
It just shows a complete lack of education and in some cases upbringing and at the very least the perpitrator shows him/herself up.
Sadly it's endemic in society and every club have "fans" (used loosely)of this nature.
