A few mistakes but as you say Wakey bossed the game, watching it your guys didn't seem to have the heart for a scrap, you'd have thought watching Salford that they had Nowt to play for.
Tim Smith ran the show, Chase is class on his day but i think Dobson & fages would be a better partnership next year with Chase at hooker. We were disgraceful yesterday although Wakefield were on it. Fair play to them they played well!

What a pathetic, disappointing end to our season! Both clubs with an outside chance of achieving something but only one team turned up on the day. Any bets on what the attendance will be now for London?

I sat in work listening to the game yesterday and have never felt so deflated. We shouldn't be getting beaten so easily by teams like Wakefield, getting beaten I can handle but simply not turning up is not acceptable.

It was a disgraceful performance, our forwards gave us no platform. This has to be a priority for next season i'd say a couple of monster forwards are needed! Prefably youngish.
Ever heard the saying we are only here for the beer???.........well swap the word beer for money your players who put that salford shirt on week in week out are on really good money they probably couldn't get anywhere else so when the going gets tough your lot are not interested they couldn't give a stuff about salford just there bank balances.
and one of the players I felt had not tacked well, actually did well in the stats.
One area that the stats do not state is the common practice, we have, of two players holding the opponent up and a third comes in late onto the legs to bring the opponent down. I am sure there has been a change against this coming in next season. nyone know more?

There must surely be an underlying problem(s) within this underperforming team. I can’t think of another club who have performed as poorly as us this year considering the strength of squads and the level of investment. It did appear the tide was turning recently but the heavy defeats to Wigan and Wakefield shows we are way off where we should be when our opponents fancy it.
Take Wakefield as an example to compare us to, a club that were in financial crisis over the winter with several forced departures and many new faces to plug the holes in what appeared a sinking ship. By contrast the Doc pushed the boat out on several high profile internationals and we were tipped by the bookies for a top 7 finish. Like Salford, Wakey have also had a change of head coach so we can’t use this as an excuse for our troubles on the field. And to rub further salt into the wounds Tim Smith a player that was so disappointing in a Salford shirt had a blinder yesterday and he’s been a totally different player since he rejoined them, why? What is the problem at Salford? As a supporter that expected to see a reasonable improvement this year, I’m totally pi$$ed off watching this dross. I'd actually go as far as saying that this year has been much more disappointing than last year when we finished bottom.
And it pains me to say that Garry Schofield's prediction of a poor year for Salford was absolutely spot on.
First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.

I think people are reading too much into what the problem is/was. Yesterday, we started poorly and gave Wakefield a 16-0 head start. In doing that, you’ve given your opposition a huge amount of confidence and that reflected in the way Wakefield played after this. We got ourselves back in the game at 16-6 and had Theo finished off his break (looked a certain penalty for a high shot from Sykes btw) then who knows (same thing at Wigan – had Junior scored his breakaway we’d have been back in the game).
It seems we struggle to get ourselves back into games where we help the opposition make a healthy early lead. We noticeable appear to start feeling sorry for ourselves and continue to give away penalties and make errors, whilst giving up in defence. Character problem? Maybe it’s something that will improve next season, after a year playing together.
