einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result
Would be quite easy for me to rub it in, but I won't!
I think we are going to see more of these 'blowout' performances in the derby from both sides, because the quality of the playing and coaching staff on both sides of the River has dipped massively over the last few years.
A few years ago you had the likes of Dobson, Newton, Galea, Fitzgibbon, O'Meley, Tom Briscoe...and a whole host of others who were either internationals or had vast NRL experience. Now both sides are filled with players who aren't wanted elsewhere or who are complete unknowns from the NRL.
Obviously I am delighted by the unexpected win tonight, but I am concerned that our derby will be reduced to being a 'Championship Middle 8' derby the way things are heading.

I must admit a few years ago this would have ruined my weekend now it's just a meh
We started off with a game plan, conceded a try and then just fannied about.
I've finally lost patience with Keating. Here, we have a scrum half who has no reading of the game what so ever. Many, many wrong option plays tonight. Kicks when he should pass, goes back towards the ruck when the ball should be spread wide, goes left when we're stacked on the right. Epitomised in the second half when he takes the ball at first receiver, has Eden (I can't even comment on him anymore) screaming on his right shoulder with a huge gap that would have seen him under the posts, doesn't look and kicks at the posts.
Walker has better footwork and more eye for a gap than him, he had a decent game, as did Cox who seemed to get strangely little time on the paddock.
If we fail to secure a top half back for next year, all those expensive backs are a waste of time.
Oh, and finally, thanks to the people wanging bottles on the pitch and setting off smoke bombs. Again. The KC looks to have decent CCTV, it's time Hudgell and Smith got that footage and cut these cancerous people out of the club.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
