The 1ST Team are playing a Friendly on Thursday the 7TH K/O 19-00 V The R.A.F.Leeming RL Team,arranged by Steve Mills who is ex RAF,come along & support

Last nights game was a 56-8 win for the Home Team who had to lend the RAF side a couple of players as they were shorthanded due to work commitments.
An entertaining pre season game played in a good spirit not one penalty for foul play,unusually Craig Lawton scored for both teams as he swopped sides at h/t !!

Our next friendly is at Home a week on Saturday v Dearne Valley k/o 2-30

Tomorrow the 16TH August the 1ST Team are at HOME V Dearne Valley Bulldogs K/O 2-30.Should be interesting as we have 13 players unavailable

Unfortunately there will be no local derbies next season even though we gained promotion due to the League restructuring
We will be in Championship 1
Bentley in the Championship & Moorends in Division 3
Could play Bentley in the Cup though

A comfortable win 60-18,game over by h/t at 48-6,plenty of changes in 2nd half so became a bit disjointed.Well done to the two 16 year olds who debuted and went well.
The next friendly is next Thursday v Sharlston that will be a tester

The Club will running a reserve side in the Pennine League Division 7 in the new season,so if any lapsed players,new players wanting to give it a try/keep fit you will be welcome,training will be on Thursday nights at 6-30 but not next week due to the Friendly v Sharlston
