I'll second this, it was a fine game.

Probably, but I couldn't agree with you more. I'd also like to see a reboot of FF's 8, 9 & 10. The games that have followed those have been utterly awful.
I actually bought the HD version of Code Veronica a couple of years back and it had stood the test of time in so many ways except for the awfully clunky control method in the early RE games. It may have been alright for a PS1 d-pad but after years of moving around with an analog stick it was annoyingly fiddly.
This one could be worth buying though just to see the look on the Mrs' face when the dogs come through the window! I don't think anything (either in games or in life) has ever scare me as much since.

I'd like to see a reboot of the various MechWarrior 2 games (inc. Mercs and Ghost Bear's Legacy), as well as the original Deus Ex. Oh yes, and Elite - I'm aware someone is trying to do this and it is part finished.

Finally finished The Last of us yesterday, after taking a break from the old gaming. I have to say it's a fantastic game, but I thought the ending was a bit naff.

First time, i poo'ed it. I also remember in Scenario B, when you would be occasionally persued by the Tyrant, there was a point where you hadn't seen him for quite a bit of game time, you'd just finish this particular puzzle, and turn around to walk out the door but he bursts through the wall behind you without ANY indication he was nearby. I absolutely bricked it the first time i did that bit. Not only that, after you left that room, he'd then burst out of it into the coridoor you were running away from him in, right in front of you! B**tard!
I've actually just played RE4 for the first time too, they sure took the franchise in a different direction. I did enjoy the game though

The recent Gamescom event over in Cologne has got me really excited for the games that are upcoming in the next six months or so. It looks like the current gen consoles are finally going to become worthwhile having.
Also worth giving a congratulations to Sony for selling over 10 million PS4s since the launch last November. That's roughly 9 months, putting the PS4 sales at a similar rate to that of the original Wii console. Impressive stuff.

Is or has anybody though about getting Destiny?
I am in two minds, Halo was a great game and i can only expect more from bungie, i am also looking at the Destiny bundle at game £415 but you get Destiny + Vanguard with a new white ps4, Ghosts and a starter set worth £20 so on balance i dont think its a terrible price.

Yep I have Destiny on pre-order, I played the Beta (and Alpha) and it's a great game. Also that white PS4 looks absolutely gorgeous.
