Maybe because as a licence payer giving money to the BBC I'd like something that is decent, and more importantly approximates the BBC's standards for impartiality. If it was a commercial station then I really wouldn't give a damn and would avoid them. Mind you it would be a brave commercial station that went out of its way to annoy the majority of its listeners.

I stopped listening to Humberside commentary after Lloyd started rambling on about Bradley Walsh and "that fat bird" (his words not mine) from The Chase during the Saints away game. From now on any game I can't attend will be listened to via Hull FC Live or another radio station.

Regarding the comments about Richardson, wasn't it him who called last years 72-10 victory over Widnes at the KC a poor performance? Whoever it was they lost all credibility in my eyes. How can a 72-10 victory over any team be poor?!
