I'm still feeling gutted now. Every time I closed my eyes in bed last night I got this nightmare vision of Batley mounting that last attack and going in for the try.

We are from Keighley. We are NOT Bradfordians.

I went to Haven. The players did clap us. It wasnt straight away but they did.
Anyone saying they didnt is lying.

The supporters stood behind sticks and
clapped to players at final whistle.even
though they threw game away for long
enough with no respnse. If any players
clapped it was far to late as most people
had gone from ground, not accusing you
of LYING by the way.

I was stood behind the posts. I had walk to just over halfway when the players came and clapped.
If some want say it was to late fair enough.
But anyone saying they didnt clap is lying.

Don't know about Whitehaven away match in particular but in general Cougar players Always appreciate and acknowledge good support from the fans. When the final hooter goes, the players are physically and emotionally drained. Possibly in pain from injuries and knocks. Then they need to gather themselves together and first of all take a bit of time to respect the opposition - every player shakes hands with every opposition player, maybe has a word or two with some. Then they will gather together as a group and acknowledge the fans as one. It all takes time after the hooter. Great if the fans can remain in place for a few minutes and also respond as one back to the players. Success needs a season long effort with players and fans together as one.

Don't you think "lying" is a bit of a confrontational word?

Looks like, after all these years, you still have a bit to learn about "winning friends and influencing people" ;-)

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Anon.

You aren't speaking the truth though, are you.

Someone who says one thing when they know another to be true is lying.

Someone who says one thing believing it to be true is mistaken.

You really are a twonk sometimes.

Anyway.... Let's put all this behind us and EVERYBODY pull together. Directors, players, fans let's get up for a win at Sheffield.

Gutted by the defeat, good comeback shame we lost possession when 3 Batley players were 5 metres off side at the tap... Not even sure how the ball came out and it happened right in front of me, either squeezed out or a clever hand in the tackle.... Let's move on! Bring on Sheffield. Let's build on the good stuff and cut out anything that isn't going to help us move back up the table!
C'mon Cougars!
