How big is the squad at Manchester Titans? Just wondering as you see the teams on tele with god knows how many players and with American football not being particularly big (In my knowledge anyway) wouldn't they struggle to get this many players per team?

The pro teams in the NFL can have a roster of over 70 players, this consists of 11 starting offence, 11 starting defense, then specialist goal kickers and punters, the rest of the squad is made up of depth players who can play on the kick off teams and field goal teams etc, and reserve for the starting offence and defense.
At the Titans we have a roster of around 40-50 players, anyone is welcome to come and watch or get involved.
Quick list of the registered community teams in the country, some teams aren't on this register and neither are the university teams, so depending upon how structured the team and the organisation is it varies the number of players but on average each team with have about 40-50 players on the roster.

I don't understand why so many people in the UK flock to watch american football whenever a NFL game is staged over here, yet so few are interested in Rugby League.

it's a brilliant day out, been to at least one game since they started, and, as much as I hate to say it, a better event than anything RL related, and way better value for money.

Anything would be better than being at the CC Final in 2013.
