The club are now in a position to give out information in regards to the injury sustained by Tom Courtney at Halifax yesterday evening.
Tom has a dislocation to his ankle and also broken a small bone in his leg which will be operated on in a few days once swelling has reduced on the injured area.
The club would also like to thank the Doctors, Physios, Paramedics and staff at the hospital in Huddersfield where Tom is receiving treatment for taking care of the Under 20′s captain.
We will keep supporters informed of any developments in regards to Tom and his condition over the coming days, weeks and months.
Send your support to Tom by directing tweets at @Cougarmania and/or @TomCourtney1 and/or @Chapalar. Remember to use the hashtag #GetWellSoonTom.

One of the nastiest injuries I've seen on a rugby field and not dis-similar to that suffered by Adam Mitchell a few years back...
Credit has to go to both teams of young lads for having the mental toughness to put on such a great game after witnessing it ( Fax won a stonking seesaw game 32-30).
Tom's a cracking player who (as I've just said on the Fax Forum) eats sleeps and breathes his Rugby and I'm sure he'll be back ..
