There is no excuses, if Leeds lose tonight it will be embarrassing, but I just can not see it, not how they have started the year.
More or less the bets I'm going with too, although I'm still feeling somewhat nervous about this game. Probably the result of watching too many hammerings over there.

I don't reckon we will win big BUT if we could it'd be great. A lot of Saints fans aren't expecting a win but are hopeful of encouraging showings by those stepping up in place of the missing men, IF we can do a number on them it might leave them a bit worried moving onwards this season about confidence in some of their squad.
We could do with getting off to a quick start and take an early lead and not give the home crowd any reason to believe their side can pull off a result and get too much behind them and give them momentum.

'IF' you had not been so quick on the draw, your anti Mac agenda could have remained hidden just beneath the surface for a bit longer or at least until you have the proof - like we lose a match or Burrow is selected to start or a youngster isn't selected - you know the usual

It is rarely easy at Saints but overconfidence could be our worst enemy tonight. We should concentrate on the basics and keeping down the errors and penalties and not try to force the points. I would play Delaney at 13 to start and try to dominate territory and keep their forwards in the middle. If all goes well we will then find the space out wide.

Kevin Sinfield needs 2 points for 3,500 with Leeds in all comps.
Under McDermott Leeds have won 3 and lost 5 V St Helens : L, L, W, L, L, W, L, W
Assuming the 'big teams' while McDermott has been in charge consist of Huddersfield, Leeds, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan then Leeds' biggest winning margins V each has been:
