You only have to look at the importance of Ablett in the pack to see how very wrong that move would be. He is much more important there.

But nothing was announced?

I really have nothing on it myself. Just the talk around the ground on Friday was all a matter of fact, rather than joking banter, and the message was he was gone. Suppose that rumour will end on Wednesday when he is back in the squad for Friday.
