Sorry state of affairs when Sharlston cannot raise a team !

The Sharlston coach was happy to reverse the Fixture saying he had contacted his playerswho were ok then all of a sudden only 9 players were available.

The 1ST TEAM are AWAY at Wyke tomorrow the 8th Feb in the cup however i am not optimistic because of the weather,watch this space

The 1st Team are at HOME tomorrow the 15TH Feb v Sharlston A k/o 2-30 subject to weather

Last w/e an excellent win 30-8 in atrocious conditions at Wyke,the ist time this season we did not have 17 players due to injury,sickness or work commitments there are now match reports in the DFP on a regular basis

This Saturday 22nd Feb the 1STTEAM are AWAY at Boothtown(Halifax) who are 2nd in the League,another tough encounter

Last Sat a 36-6 win v Sharlston and we should have had another 4 tries.Look on u tube tollbar@penninerl for 46 mins of the game

Saturday the 1ST TEAM are at HOME V Stainland Stags in the Cup 1/4 Final
The U12S are AWAY at East Leeds
SUNDAY the U8S are at HOME V Featherstone Lions & th U9S ARE AWAY at F,stone Lions obviously too difficult for both age groups to be at the same venue

The cup game should be very interesting both teams top of their Divisions and scoring lots of points,last season they beat us 28-4 in R2 but did have 3 conference players playing
As expected a tough game at Boothtown last week see the Free Press for a report

Last weeks 1ST Team game v Stainland didnt work out as expected with a thumping 72-2 win playing superb Rugby especially in the 1st Half

The U12S had a narrow defeat at East Leeds 16-14
