The Gale situation, again why not try and add to the squad keep Miller which I understand they would rather do as he has 2yrs left. As I understand it we have room to do this within the cap.

Mason, well that's a new one on me but again if we can do it why not a hard man with a vast amount of experience.

Seconded.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.

I don't know the kid but I know a couple of people who do and all I hear is how he seems to be happy espcially now rankins hear who he was a major part in convincing him to come. Still you never know.

Agreed.

I am disappointed with our last minute recruitment but acknowledge the quality of some of the targets.

Many of the people on this board have believed for months that we were at least one prop short and given that injuries are inevitable I don't know why the coaching staff didn't see this.

We were supposed to be in effect swapping Lynch for Jonathan Walker but when the Walker deal fell through we still let Lynch go. Why?

Carvell is still undoubtedly quality and Mason is vastly experienced but I don't know how many miles he has left in him.

I accept that Radford tried to sign Gale some time ago. He is a proper half back but not a world beater and none of the top clubs would be interested in him.

I don't think he has ever rated Miller nor given him a fair chance. If he didn't see a future at the club for Miller when he was appointed then the situation should have been addressed then IMO.

Wow, having what some would consider 4 first choice half backs in a squad, must be the only team in SL with such depth in the halves. Shame their all bang on average!

It would have been better done earlier but clearly the latest Bradford changes of ownership have presented opportunities which we are looking to take. I suspect the changes of coach and football manager in October didn't help the smooth running of recruitment at the back end of last year. It's good to be in a position where we have the wherewithal (and necessary financial means) to change things around - the new coach has seemingly identified areas and it might be that he's able to change things earlier than he might otherwise have expected.

I've seen celery thrown at Rovers matches, and then there was "piegate" at the HJ 2 years ago, but sponge fingers?

That would be a trifle silly.

Who asked you. I'd be more concerned with your pi$$ed up Casvegas twins, your two props who can only partially train due to their knees being fooked, your big fat out of shape marquee signing half back and your big fat out of shape overpaid and over weight second row.

Now jog on.

Our recruitment has felt rushed for years!

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
