is it not the case though that hullfc are not trying to "buy" carvel,but the player is saying his contract is null and void , because of the change of ownership at the bulls?

If Carvell wants to move to Hull he'll move. How the deal is done may hold things up a bit but it looks like he's heading your way unless his agent has been doing all this negotiation for the good of his health.
