Disappointed that we can't make it happen. Had a very good season for Warrington last year and impressed at Bradford pre season. Would have been great for a year whilst Green, Bowden and BTW develop.

Hope we don't sign him. Past. Fooked us over, move on play a kid. Short term "glory" never worked for FC. Long term gain was the supposed plan, so lets do that. Fook Carvell.
He'd be ok for a season but it's hardly what we want is it? Only a few weeks ago we didn't need anyone else , the squad had depth the youngsters were the way forward etc etc and now reality has set in and we're looking to sign a 33 yo prop just because he might be available. We'd be better spending some time looking at the championship and trying to find a big raw rough @rsed prop and trying to develop him. The 2 props at Featherstone looked more like props than anyone we had on the field at the weekend. With the exception of Bowden who I think may be OK this or next year we've got no one else that looks any where near ready to come through and I still remain far from convinced about Green.

We're definitely short of props but not sure about team balance if he signed. paea, feka and carvell would be potentially awesome but how many minutes would they do between them? We don;t have another prop who can do big minutes so would probably need 3 props on the bench (or play one at 13), leaving our back row to play the full 80

Each of those could do 20 minutes spells (Plus HT helps) as long as the subs are used correctly it would be fine.
If he signs our frontrow will be as good as anyone other team in SL.

I rate him. Good solid grafter with a decent pair of hands. He's a bit small for prop which is where Gentle played him mostly I would much rather see Thompson move on. Never saw anything at Cas seen nothing in pre-season.
