Presumably they tried gay marriage at least once before in history and only Noah spoke out against it, luckily he was also a boat builder.

The funny thing is that one could cite the story of Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah.
This is mentioned in Genesis 11–14 and 19.
The story of Noah and the flood, however, is mentioned in chapters 6–9.
So the Biblical flood came before all that stuff about men possibly wanting to shag other men, and being offered Lot's virgin daughters to rape instead, which is why Lot was the one good man who God saved.

Theres another problem of course - he wiped out the whole population of earth apart from one family, from whom we are all now presumably descended and yet as you say, within a very short space of time they were all at it again, gay-ing each other like billy-oh, no wonder he sent his son down to sort them all out who they then proceeded to nail to a tree, it was a bit wild in those days wasn't it.
